On a sunny day, you may find the residents of Douglas House lounging in the gazebo, on one of the many benches on the property, or enjoying the attractively landscaped grounds from the spacious solarium. 

If they are not at home, they may be enjoying one of the cultural events in the neighborhood, including the Brockton Symphony Orchestra, located within a mile of Douglas House and accessible by public transportation.
