RHF was founded in 1961 by two United Church of Christ clergy and a layman with a vision of providing quality housing and services for seniors. With $7,000, and that vision, they launched what has become one of the nation's largest non-profit providers of housing and services for older adults, low-income families and persons with disabilities.

RHF’s largest affordable community is Angelus Plaza, located in Los Angeles, California, with 1,093 apartments located in the downtown area.

Angelus Plaza will be accepting applications for their waitlist beginning February 3rd.

Primary applicants must be 62 years of age or older. Applicant must meet annual income levels of less than $36,550 for one person or $41,800 for two persons. Income limitations are determined by the Department of Housing and Urban Development. You can download an application packet here.
