Camelot Village

Camelot Village is located in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and consists of 36 units including 29 one-bedroom and 7 studio apartments. Four units are designed specifically for those mobility impairments. Council Bluffs is located just across the river from Omaha, Nebraska.

Our community offers a variety of recreational activities, including bingo, potluck suppers, birthday celebrations, card games, and other social gatherings. Our residents are active participants in RHF’s Project H.A.N.D.S.

How much is rent and what is it based on?

Your rent is determined by income. Income limitations are determined by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). We will provide you with HUD Facts sheet; “How your rent is determined” and HUD publication of “Residents Rights and Responsibilities” these two HUD guides should help you understand how rent is figured.

What utilities are the residents required to pay?

Utilities are included in your rent with the exception of telephone and cable TV.

What medical services do we offer?

Camelot Village is a 62 years of age and older, or mobility impaired independent retirement community.

Are pets allowed at your facility?

One dog 25 lbs. or under (adult size) is allowed but must be spayed or neutered; must have distemper and rabies shots documents, and must be licensed by the proper city/county authorities when applicable.

One cat 15 lbs. or under is allowed but must be spayed or neutered; must have distemper and rabies shots documents, and must be licensed by the proper city/county authorities when applicable.

Birds maximum number 2; Fish, maximum aquarium size is 20 gallons; Rodents such as hamsters, guinea pigs, or rabbits are permitted. Reptiles and Exotic Animals: Snakes, lizards, and iguanas are not permitted.
