Q: Do you have any two bedroom apartments?
A: No. The Towers at Crooked Creek has only 1 bedroom apartments and a few apartments that are for the mobility impaired.
Q: What is the age requirement for The Towers at Crooked Creek?
A: The Towers at Crooked Creek is for people 62 years of age or older or those people, over the age of 18, needing the accessibility features of our mobility impaired apartments.
Q: What is a mobility impaired apartment?
A: A mobility impaired apartment is an architecturally redesigned apartment that accommodates persons requiring a wheelchair, walker, or cane.
Q: How is rent calculated?
A: We calculate your gross income and deduct your out of pocket expenses such as medical, dental, eye, and pharmacy, then we use the formula of 30% of your income to determine your rent amount. At the interview, we can estimate your rent amount but cannot give you a final amount until we receive your completed application and have verified your income and expenses.
Q: Can I have a pet?
A: Yes, pets are allowed.
Q: Is there a pet deposit required when moving in?
A: There is a maximum deposit for a cat or dog of $150 due when the animal moves into the apartment. Other requirements exist and are contained in our Pet Policy.
Q: Can I make payments on it?
A: Yes, $50 down and $10 a month until paid in full.
Q: Is there a Security Deposit required?
A: Yes, equal to one month’s rent.
Q: Is there transportation at your facility?
A: The Towers at Crooked Creek has a van that takes you to area grocery stores 3 times a week and to Lafayette Square and Meijer’s once a month.
Q: Are you on the bus line?
A: The city bus stops at the end of our driveway every hour on the hour, six days a week. Indy Go will pick you up at the door when prior arrangements have been made. Taxi service is also always available.

Q: Are you a meal site?
A: Yes. CICOA serves lunch Monday through Friday and is available to all residents who wish to participate.
Q: Do you have any activities?
A: Yes, a variety of activities take place throughout the month, ranging from Bingo, resident dinners, and other forms of entertainment. It varies from month to month.
