Q: What type of housing is Harbor Tower? Is it low income housing?
A: Harbor Tower is a subsidized and non-subsidized housing community for older adults, 62 years or older. The term “subsidized housing” means that the rent is based on income. A resident in this community pays approximately 30% of their adjusted income as rent.
Q: What does the rent include?
A: Monthly rental of the apartment, as well as utilities.
Q: How many apartments are there?
A: Harbor Tower has 180 apartments.
Q: Do you allow pets?
A: Harbor Tower welcomes your pet. Fish and birds are welcomed without a deposit. We also welcome small dogs and cats with a pet deposit.
Q: Is there an elevator?
A: Yes, there are two elevators.
Q: Is there parking?
A: Parking is limited and there is a waiting list. No additional charge.
Q: Is there public transportation?
A: Yes, currently the city has the Dash to service the San Pedro community. There is the Public Transit System that goes throughout the area.
Q: Is there shopping in the area?
A: Yes, within walking distance you will find various restaurants, numerous entertainment venues, and shopping.
Q: Is there a waiting list?
A: Yes, currently Harbor Tower’s waiting list is closed and we are not accepting applications.
