Stone Creek Village

Stone Creek Village is an affordable community for people with mobility and /or sensory impairments, age 18 or older.

Apartments are designed to better accommodate those who may have difficulty carrying out the day-to-day living activities in a conventional dwelling. For this reason, Stone Creek Village obtains a doctor’s verification on applicants before qualifying to lease a unit. In addition to the doctor’s verification, we also perform a credit, criminal and eviction background check on all applicants.

A Social Service Coordinator is available for residents’ personal needs.

Stone Creek Village is a smoke-free community.

I’m receiving SSDI, do I qualify to lease an apartment at Stone Creek?

Stone Creek Village has 40 units designed to meet the specific needs of those with mobility and/or sensory impairments. To determine whether someone would qualify to lease an apartment at Stone Creek we perform third party verification with the applicant’s doctor. That person would have to sign our verification form for the need of an accessible unit and verify what design features would best accommodate the applicant.

How much will I pay for rent?

A family’s anticipated gross income determines not only eligibility for assistance, but also determines the rent a family will pay and the subsidy required. Do you accept pets?

Yes! Some general guidelines are as follows: Only one of the following types of pets will be allowed:

  • Dogs: Maximum number: 1
  • – Maximum size: 25 lbs
  • – Must be spayed or neutered. (Documentation required)


  • Cats: Maximum number: 1
  • – Maximum size: 15lbs
  • – Must be spayed or neutered. (Documentation required)


  • Birds: Maximum number 2


  • Fish: Maximum aquarium size, 20 gallons

How long is your waiting list?

After your name has been accepted for the waiting list the following actions will take place: As your name moves up on the waiting list and vacancies occur we will contact you for further processing. We have to address each application in the order it was received. We cannot give you an exact time that you will be on the waiting list for an apartment. It is very important that you keep your telephone number and address current with Stone Creek Village.

Is this assisted living?

Answer: No. Stone Creek Village apartments are accessible units designed to better accommodate those who may have difficulty carrying out their day to day living activities in a conventional dwelling. Those eligible would have a mobility and/or sensory impairment and be 18 years or older. The resident would have to have already in place assistance for his/or her daily living activities. Stone Creek Village only provides the accessible unit.
